Live Mussels

These small, sweet mussels come from the most famous mussel "farm" of the Northwest. They do not require purging. Enjoy these tender morsels dipped in garlic butter! Store in bowl covered with wet newspaper or towel in refrigerator. Please note: mussels may arrive open. To determine if they are still alive, hold one in your closed hand for a few seconds. A live mussel will react to the heat of your hand and close. Discard any that do not respond to this test.
