These large oysters are sweet and meaty. A bit of a mouthful for eating raw, but they are perfect for grilling! (around 5 pounds per dozen). Store in bowl covered with wet newspaper or towel in refrigerator. Please note: oysters may arrive open. Discard any that do not close their shells when tapped. Also, oysters should be stored with their cupped shells down to prevent their vital liquids from draining out.
