Steamed Salmon With Lemon And Olive Oil

Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • salt and pepper
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 8 oz white wine
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 2 oz chopped leek
  • 1 sprig fresh thyme
  • 1 tbsp cracked peppercorns
  • 1 1/2 lbs salmon fillet or steak

Directions

To make dressing, combine lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Whisk in oil.

Combine the wine, bay leaf, leeks, thyme, and peppercorns in the bottom of a steamer.

Season the salmon with salt and pepper, and place it in the steamer.

Steam the salmon until done, 4-6 min.

Plate the salmon and spoon dressing over top.
